Buy or Sell to Open or Close If you are a qualified options investor, you may invest in simple or complex options. Experienced options traders may trade multi-leg options with up to three legs. Trade choices include spreads, strangles, straddles, combinations, synthetics, buy-writes, unwinds and naked puts/calls.1 Enter market, limit, stop loss and trailing stop orders. Click on an existing options positions on your real-time Positions page and choose to "trade" or "sell all."

Tax-lot Trading Our online simple options order entry screen allows you to choose specific tax lots to trade and then view and sort them by term and cost before sending your order.

Trailing Stops Enter an options order that trails the market as a flat dollar value – either a stop limit or a stop loss order. The system will automatically execute it.

Easy Cancel With our real-time order status page, it is easy to track options trade executions. If you trade complex options, you will receive a common tracking number for all legs of the trade which can be canceled by canceling any specific leg.

You’re in Touch Stay in touch with the markets and your account status while you trade. Use the “Quick Views” menu bar at the top of each trading ticket for instant access to a real-time quote, your positions, balances, order status and a commission calculator.

Research Is Just a Click Away Just click on the call or put you like, highlight the symbol, copy and paste it into the symbol field on the Price History page to see a display of price movement for the option you’re interested in. Research potential options trades through Optionetics® Trade Finder and analyze option alternatives with Optionetics® Volatility Rankings.2
